About Brighton
The city of Brighton is a rich center combining a traditional, small-town feel, with growing infrastructure, including modern schools and a burgeoning list of businesses and activities. Brighton has 172 acres of parks, 62 acres of open spaces, and 68 acres of recreational space, including an extensive trail system, 
a skateboard park, and expanded facilities. The recreational master plan calls for all parks and open space to be connected by pedestrian/bike paths, providing safe alternatives to getting around town by car.
